Brent Foster Photography

I believe in storytelling, and photography is my tool.

Since I was fourteen, I’ve worked my hardest to become a storyteller.

My camera and chosen career have taken me all over the world from Palestine to Congo and everything in between. I’ve had many amazing and emotional experiences from covering hurricanes to interviewing the Dalai Lama at his residence in India for The New York Times.

I’ve worked as a staff photojournalist and multimedia producer for The Windsor Star, The National Post, and The Los Angeles Times.

No experience can compare to my most recent.

I left India a little over a year ago where I was living and working on projects for, Dispatches, and Human Rights Watch among others.

I came home to photograph my hometown for Canadian Geographic.

This trip changed my life. I fell in love with a girl named Tammy. We were married in October, 2010, and I now live back in my hometown with my awesome wife and my beautiful step-daughter Daylia.

My career now works like this:

I am a wedding photographer, and cinematographer, documenting weddings in Windsor, London, Toronto, and beyond. I also operate a studio in Wallaceburg, Ontario, where I shoot family, maternity, pet, and commercial pictures in the studio, and on location.

We don’t charge for travel for our wedding photography from Windsor-Toronto, as we choose to live in a small town, and expect to be on the road for most of our weddings. Plus we like road trips:)

Also, all wedding packages come with an amazing signing book filled with images from your included engagement photography shoot!

My career as a photojournalist is nowhere near over but I now work on stories near and dear to my heart during the wedding off season.

I approach wedding photography with the same passion, and storytelling techniques that I do any magazine or newspaper assignment.

Tammy often works by my side, and together, we keep things fresh and fun.

We’re passionate, a little crazy, excited, hard working, and just a call or email away!
