Aside from teaching, Tammy and I have spent some time venturing around this amazing city and well, eating our way through it, too.
From doner, to baklava, to zucchini croquettes, to cold yogurt soup, this city is a foodies dream come true.

This week, our friend will arrive from Canada, and we plan to hop a plane to Izmir the following weekend!

LOVE the contrast of the bathing suit ads with the conservative dress in front. Great photos, Brent! As always. Take care of my boy when he gets there!
Brent…I just want to tell you how much I’ve loved seeing photos of Turkey on the blog! It takes me back to a beautiful land that I loved. The hospitality there is outstanding. And, you’re right, it is a foodies dream! Have a kahve orta for me, please! (And sigara borek, manti, simit, the best ice cream (dondurma), kofte, and too many other treats to name!) I know you’re having a fabulous time…keep the amazing photography coming!
Thanks so much Jana! It’s been amazing so far. We’ll definitely miss this place when we head back to Canada! Hope all is well:)
